Volt is immediately hiring CNC Machine Operators in Irvine, CA- and surrounding cities.

As a CNC Machine Operator you will :

• The primary responsibility of the Machinist is to set up and operate machine tools such as milling machines, boring machines, and grinders, to machine metallic and nonmetallic work pieces
• Reads blueprint, HEC traveler and Predator DNC software for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances and tooling instructions such as fixtures, feed rates, cutting speeds, depth of cut and determines sequences of operations
• Selects, positions, and secures tool in toolholder (chuck, collect, or toolpost)
• Positions and secures work pieces in holding device, machine table, chuck, center, or fixtures
• Moves controls to position tool and work piece in relation to each other and to set specified feeds, speeds, and depth of cut
• Performs other duties as assigned

This is a Full-Time opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have :

One year certificate from college or technical school; or three (3) or more year’s related experience and / or training;

or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Language Skills : Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Computer Skills : Knowledge of MS Office

Pay Rate : $20.00-$35.00 per hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
